Fujifilm has provided a worthy successor to the DryPix FM-DP L. Combining
the proven reliability and convenience of the DryPix FM-DP L with the
remarkable operating efficiency of the DryPix 7000, the DryPix 5000 is
the ideal imager for centralized imaging departments or multi-slice CT
applications needing the flexibility of 110-volt power. The backup security,
unrivalled image quality, networkability and lowest cost of ownership of the
DryPix 7000 have been maintained in this exciting new addition to the DryPix
family. DryPix 5000 has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for use with
Full Field Digital Mammography (FFDM) devices. Offering high (50-micron)
resolution and (3.60) maximum density capability, the DryPix 5000 imager
with DI-HL film ensures the highest quality images demanded by FFDM.
Further, DryPix 5000 has been tested and validated by FFDM pre-market
application (PMA) holders GE Healthcare, Fischer Imaging and
Lorad a Hologic company.
